Camp Jackson

History

The camp is built on 79 acres of land donated by Harry Jackson, of Allendale, SC. It would take several pages of testimonies to tell how God has provided for the construction and needs of this Camp. The entire camp was built primarily from more than 65 donated houses on Hilton Head Island, which would have been demolished. The miracle was how Camp Jackson was built from these salvaged materials, donations and volunteer labor! The remainder of materials not used in construction was sold in order to establish a trust fund for the future stability of the Camp for our generation and those to come.

“Countless thanks,” to the many men and women who contributed their time and labor, as a love offering in the construction of Camp Jackson. Their selfless contributions will be remembered now and for eternity!

To God be the Glory, forever and ever!
